READ MORE ABOUT OUR

WORK ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Here you can read about how we work with the working environment and the principles that guide us in this work. The policy outlines our shared responsibility for creating a safe, secure and inclusive workplace, as well as how we prevent risks and work towards a sustainable working life.

OUR WORK ENVIRONMENT POLICY

IMA aims to be a workplace where people feel well, safe and able to evolve. We work actively to create a safe, inclusive and sustainable working environment, where risks are prevented and everyone is treated with respect. All employees share responsibility for the working environment and for contributing to a positive and effective workplace.

HOW WE APPROACH WORK ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT

Work environment management is an integral part of our organisation and is based on a systematic, long-term approach. We follow applicable laws and work continuously to improve the physical, organisational and social working environment. This means we ensure that workloads, working hours and resources are reasonable. It also means that roles and responsibilities are clear and that employees receive the support and skills they need in their work. We work actively to create a balance between work and private life.

An important part of our work environment efforts is to identify and manage risks in time. All employees are therefore expected to be alert to and report risks, shortcomings and incidents. Through cooperation and open dialogue, we create the conditions for a safe and secure workplace.

WELL-BEING, RESPECT AND SAFETY

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards threats, violence, harassment and discriminatory treatment. Everyone should feel respected and included. If anything like that occurs, it must be taken seriously, dealt with promptly and followed up in a responsible manner.

Safety is central across all our work, which includes everything from technical safety and protective equipment to fire safety and road safety when driving vehicles on duty. We take a preventative approach through clear procedures, training and regular drills, so that everyone knows how to act in different situations.

There is a zero-tolerance policy towards alcohol and drugs at work and in the context of work. We take a preventative approach and offer support and rehabilitation where necessary, whilst respecting the individual’s privacy.

DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY

Professional development is a key component of a sustainable working environment. Through continuous development and regular dialogue between managers and employees, we create the conditions for both personal and organisational development.

Management is responsible for ensuring that the policy is known and adhered to within the organisation, but health and safety is a shared responsibility. All employees are expected to contribute to a safe, secure and respectful workplace, and to identify and raise concerns when issues arise.
