Sustainability is a important part of our day-to-day work and a natural part of our daily lives. By constantly evolving and taking new steps forward, we aim to contribute to a more sustainable future for both people and the climate.
We are actively working on sustainability development in three key areas:

MORE SORTING IN EVERYDAY LIFE
For more resources to be recycled, it needs to be easy to sort waste correctly from the start. When waste sorting becomes a natural part of everyday life, more materials can be recovered and reused.
That is where we at IMA make a difference.
We develop smart and functional solutions that make waste sorting simple, convenient and accessible already in the kitchen. At the same time, we want to contribute with information, knowledge and inspiration that make it easier for more people to sort waste and make sustainable choices in everyday life. Because we believe that small changes can make a meaningful difference for the future.

For us, social sustainability is about how we treat people in our everyday lives. We believe in long-term relationships based on respect, honesty and genuine interest in people we work with – whether they are colleagues, suppliers or customers.
We want to help make the day better for those we work with and who meet us during the day. This can take the form of clear communication, keep our promises and develop solutions that work over time.
It is inspiring to help people sort their waste. The waste that is collected is recycled in larger systems, turned into new raw materials that eventually can become brand new products from IMA. And so it continues, cycle after cycle.
